The Chinese street food tourists can't find. In this video, I hit the streets of Chongqing for a DIY food tour, building my own food crawl and seeing where the city takes me. I'm on a mission to uncover spots most tourists wouldn't know about or struggle to find on their own, and I'm only eating food that's truly from Chongqing. I kick things off at a small local wonton shop, ordering a bowl drenched in chilli oil. The heat hits immediately, bold, numbing, and unmistakably Chongqing.
